Thanks for the interview. It was great fun and informative to listen to. L.A. Confidential, the movie, remains a personal favourite. Having read the book, I think it is a genius adaptation. The two works are best enjoyed as separate, complementary works. The movie also led me to Ellroy's books, which I am still enjoying.

Daniel,the book is great but too sprawling..The movie is awesome,making judicious cuts and remaking some characters/plots.I love both.
